DAY 01    PHNOM PENH DEPARTURE-YANGON ARRIVAL
From our meeting point, we will transfer to the Phnom Penh International airport. Upon arrival in Yangon, we will be transferred to your hotel. Yangon, formerly known as Rangoon, which is the colonial and spiritual heritage makes the city, one of the most fascinating and authentic capitals of Southeast Asia. After fresh up at the hotel, we will visit Chauk Htut Gyi Pagoda (70 m long reclining Buddha). Continue to one of the most wonder of the world famous Shwedagon Pagoda, where we could find religious, cultural and social life of local people. Enjoy the wonderful view over the Singuttra Hill during the sun setting. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Yangon. (D)

DAY 02    YANGON-KYAIKHTIYO (GOLDEN ROCK)-YANGON

After breakfast at the hotel, depart from Yangon to the Kyaikhtiyo (Golden Rock) Pagoda. You will go by car via Kyaiktho town to reach the base camp (around 3 to 4 hours drive). There you will have to leave your car and join a public, open truck for the ride up the mountain. Your guide will try to secure more comfortable seats in the front cabin for you, if available! Walk for another hour up the hill to the Golden Rock Pagoda, located at around 1,100 meters above sea level. (Those who wish can ask to be carried by sedan chair - additional charges apply). Lunch at a local restaurant.

A small stupa was built on a large boulder and partly hanging over the gorge. Legend has it that the boulder keeps its balance due to a Buddha hair. You will observe pilgrims praying, lighting candles and putting thin gold leaves on the boulder. Enjoy the sunset at the Pagoda and walk to your hotel near the Golden Rock or 45 Minutes below. Dinner at a local restaurant or at the hotel. Overnight in Kyaikhtiyo. (B, L, D)

DAY 03    KYAIKHTIYO (THE GOLDEN ROCK)-BAGO-YANGON
After breakfast, we will be back to Yangon via Bago [110 km/8 hours]. Bago sightseeing includes “Kanbawzathardi Palace” the famous palace of King Bayinnaung (1551-1581 A.D.) is being extensively excavated and some buildings are being rebuilt. Lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, continue to “Shwe Maw Daw Pagoda” was originally built by the Mon to a height to 23 meters in the 8th century and was rebuilt higher several times until it finally reached its present 114 meter stature in 1954, the highest pagoda in Myanmar. “Shwethalyaung Pagoda” Built in 994 AD by King Mingadippa, It is 55 meters long and 16 meters high, another biggest reclining Buddha image in Myanmar built during 9th century.  “Kyeik Pun Pagoda” It was built by King Dhamma Zedi in 1476 A.D, four gigantic Buddha images all in sitting posture facing the four cardinal points of the compass. On arrival in Yangon, we will visit Botataung Pagoda at the bank of Yangon River, then city center where Sule Pagoda located to see the bustling life of Yangon and City Hall. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Yangon. (B, L, D)

DAY 04    YANGON DEPARTURE-PHNOM PENH ARRIVAL
After breakfast, we will be transferred to the international airport for our flight back to Phnom Penh. (B)
