Day 01    Depart Phnom Penh in the morning, visit in Kratie and overnight in Stung Treng
Day 02    Full-day visit in Stung Treng
Day 03    Return to Phnom Penh

DAY 01    PHNOM PENH-KRATIE-STUNG TRENG
From our meeting point, we will depart at 0700 am for Stung Treng, a key link town between Kratie and Lao border and on the way, we will make a visit in Kratie, a town of a little charmer with a popular for its rare freshwater Irrawaddy dolphins in Kampi Pools. It will have about 03 and half hour drive to get Kratie and on arrival in Kratie, our orientation drive will begin and we will find that the town is rich in legacy of French-era architecture. Lunch at a local restaurant. Then, we will visit Phnom Sombok, a natural and historical site and through a concrete staircase, we will climb up to the mountain to have a magnificent view of the countryside with Mekong River. Continue our visit to 100 pillar Wat (Wat Sarsar Muoy Roy) features four Buddhist temples, each facing the different direction. That Wat was built in 1806 and local people hold nine-day Khmer New Year ceremony there. Return to the town of Kratie and make a stop at Kampi Pools for Dolphin watch on a local boat. Continue our trip to Stung Treng and before our arrival in Stung Treng, we will head to O’Pong Moan, a natural canal which is popular for fishing and swimming. After a few minute to see the nature of surroundings and will go on our destination to Stung Treng. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Stung Treng.(L, D)

DAY 02    STUNG TRENG
After breakfast, we depart early to O’Svay for Dolphin and hidden waterfall, Sopheakmill waterfall. O’Svay is located 57km northwest of the Stung Treng town. On arrival at O’Svay, we will board our private local boat for our excursion. O’Svay serves as a peaceful preserve for wildlife, especially birds and also serves as a major fish breeding area during the rainy season. Along the river beaches and stunning channels, it is possible to find the foot prints of wild animals and it is a wonderful and attraction place for bathe and swim. Then, continue to Anlung Cheuteal Dolphin pool to observe the freshwater Irrawaddy Dolphin. Then cruise up to the north near Laos border to explore Sophamith Waterfall which is an area where the Mekong River tumbles down 26m of tiered rock-faces at the border of Cambodia and Laos PDR. We will serve our picnic lunch. Return to Stung Treng and on the way, we will visit Wat Hang Kho Ba located about 06 km northeast of the town and we will pay a visit to its 300-year old pagoda. Then we will try sweet tamarind, a popular fruit in this site and continue to Mekong Blue, a silk-weaving center, part of the Stung Treng Women’s Development Center where we will see the dyers and weavers in action. We will have a stroll around the bustling river town where we will have a chance to see the mixed culture, language and food of Khmer and Laotians. Stung Treng is famous for Nhem, parcels of raw, spiced fish wrapped in banana leaves. Buying local products help alleviate local poverty. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Stung Treng.(B, L, D)

DAY 03    STUNG TRENG-PHNOM PENH
After breakfast, free at leisure and enjoy your stay in Stung Treng. At 0900 in the morning, we will depart Stung Treng for our home in Phnom Penh. On the way, we will make a few stops for rest and lunch. After 06 hour drive, we will get in Phnom Penh.(B, L)
